Mubasher: The All-Share index of Boursa Kuwait gained 1.49% or 78 points to reach 5,309.69 points by the week ended on 7 March compared to 5,231.66 points by the week ended on 28 February.
The index of the All-Share Market lacks a higher trading volume than the current level, capital market analyst Hassan Al Kandry told Mubasher.
The Premier Market went up 2.1% or 115.2 points to 5,597.37 points this week from 5,842.19 points a week ago.
Similarly, the Main Market edged up 0.04% or 1.7 points to 4,774.7 points from 4,772.99 points.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity surged by 152.7% or KWD 71.4 million to reach KWD 118.2 million this week from KWD 46.78 million a week ago.
The trading volume increased 266% week-on-week to total 665.44 million shares from 181.83 million.
The number of transactions enlarged by 187.9% to about 24,790 from nearly 8,610 a week earlier.
